Their most popular, iconic work (particularly if you don't know their portfolio all that well) is Pikachu ex SSP 238, namely the secret art version from Scarlet & Violet: Surging Sparks. This card is quite valuable among collectors, as we've shown in this articlelink outside website.

This Corviknight artwork, however, features a dynamic perspective, which not every artist can create. It is a prime example of how using different angles can make artworks a lot more "lively".

This card was illustrated by sowswo, who always uses a "chalk-like" style to create these characters and backgrounds. They've used this style for their cards ever since they started working for The Pokémon Company, back in Sun & Moon: Forbidden Light. They've created many artworks for the TCG since, so they're certainly a veteran.

One of their most valuable cards is Gengar VMAX FST 271, which is easily recognizable even if you aren't familiar with this artist.

One of their most famous works is also "Van Gogh" Eevee, from when The Pokémon Company decided to honor this iconic painter.

This card was illustrated by akagi, who also created one of the most expensive cards from Scarlet & Violet: Twilight Masqueradelink outside website: Greninja ex TWM 214.

In this card, however, Volcanion is shown in all its splendor inside a fiery domain, surrounded by magma, which is an almost essential background for this Pokémon.

This card was illustrated by Megumi Mizutani, who has worked with the Pokémon Company since the Unova generation. She also created Mimikyu, from the 7th generation (Alola).

Because she was an active part of the Black & White creative team, the Pokémon Company most likely decided to honor her past work by asking her to create these beautiful N's Zoroark and N's Zorua. She even reused the classic style featured in that particular era.

2 - Hop's Zacian ex (Secret Illustration Rare - 186/159)

This card was illustrated by DOM, who has already created 33 cards for the paperback TCG, and 3 for Pokémon Pocket.

Their first work was Jolteon BRS TG04, from Sword & Shield: Brilliant Stars.

This Hop's Zacian is quite symbolic, as it shows the story featured in the 8th generation game titles. A few other cards in Sword & Shield were also inspired by the same games, like Zacian V ASR TG21, illustrated by aoki.

The friendship represented in these cards is beautiful. Furthermore, Zacian is one of the few legendary Pokémon that stood out from that era.

This card should also be quite powerful in Standard alongside Archaludon ex. If you'd like to know more about this strategy, check out our deck tech!link outside website

1 - N's Reshiram (Illustration Rare - 167/159)

And, of course, our first place is this card, illustrated by Bun Toujo. This artist has recently become more popular with the Pokémon Company. Their last notable card was this Mewtwo PR-SV 52, from the "151" special set.

They decided to depict Reshiram in the skies next to N, almost as if they're in "heaven", and this is simply incredible considering the mythology around this Pokémon. Reshiram represents the value of truth, which is also remarkable considering N's own journey: in the story, he was manipulated by Ghetsis, but eventually redeemed himself.

This card also represents N's values, as he ends up confronting his "adoptive father", the leader of Team Plasma. N becomes nearly a messiah at the end, as he is guided by "truth" and corrects all the mistakes he made in the name of Team Plasma. Throughout his entire journey, his most notable strength was how deeply he understood Pokémon.
